Scotty Cameron Putters Overview

Scotty Cameron putters by Titleist are prized for their superb craftsmanship, pure feel and stylish design. Tour pros the world over – including Tiger Woods, Brooks Koepka and Justin Thomas – have used Scotty Cameron putters to claim more than 40 men’s major championships and 1,400 wins since 1993.

Scotty Cameron was introduced to golf by his father, a 2 handicap who enjoyed tinkering with equipment. Young Scotty quickly picked up his dad’s passion; the pair would spend hours in the garage working on clubheads and creating new designs. Cameron honed his skills while crafting putters for several major brands in the 1980s and early ‘90s. In 1992, he founded Cameron Golf International with a simple goal: To build great putters for the world’s best golfers.

The fledgling manufacturer hit the big-time in 1993, when Bernhard Langer won the Masters wielding a Scotty Cameron putter. Nearly three decades later, the company ranks among golf’s most prestigious and trusted brands. In fact, some models have become collectors’ items; it’s not uncommon to see a vintage Titleist Scotty Cameron putter for sale at an outrageous price. Cameron continues designing and building new models at his famed Putter Studio in California.

Here’s a look at the current lineup of Scotty Cameron putters for sale at Global Golf:

2020 Special Select

The newest collection comprises tour-inspired blade and mid-mallet styles, all precision-milled in the U.S. Each Scotty Cameron Special Select putter model features a soft, tri-sole design for proper alignment and interchangeable weights for customizable feel and balance. Prominent models include the Special Select Newport, Newport 2 and Newport 2.5. (Trivia note: Tiger Woods has used a Scotty Cameron Newport 2 putter in 14 of his 15 major victories.)

2018 Select

Putters in this line sit perfectly square at setup thanks to “four-way sole balancing technology,” which aids alignment on practically any slope. Scotty Cameron 2018 Select models, including several versions of the celebrated Newport putter design, also feature multi-material construction for outstanding balance, sound and feel.

Phantom X

Considered Scotty Cameron’s most technologically advanced putters yet, Phantom X models put a fresh spin on the mallet category. The lineup offers an array of alignment guides, such as triple-dot patterns and bright yellow lines, which blend seamlessly with boldly sculpted shapes.

Scotty Cameron putters’ famous feel and feedback meet super-forgiving, high-MOI design. Futura models feature advanced vibration dampening along with moveable weights, which are matched with shaft length for superior balance from heel to toe to grip.

You’ll find both new and Used Titleist Scotty Cameron Putters on sale regularly at Global Golf.
