The Ping Rapture Adjustable fairway wood features a titanium 8-1-1 head with a tungsten sole plate and is adjustable 1/2 degree in either direction. The tungsten sole plate accounts for almost 25 percent of the head mass and moves the center of gravity lower in the head for high launch angles and reduced spin. Extreme variable face thickness on the large beta-titanium face enlarges the sweet spot to create very high ball speeds for more distance and enhance forgiveness on off-center hits.
