Pro Tip: Mizuno Pro 2024 Irons - A New Age of Forging

The new Mizuno irons for 2024 are built with that same look that you’ve come to expect from Mizuno – clean and beautifully crafted – but with plenty of new tech for this year.

The Mizuno 24 series irons features three distinct models build for different kinds of players including the 241 blades, the 243 speed-cavity, and the 245 hollow-body (built for tour-level speed). The biggest focus for these new Mizuno irons was to dial in the focus of what each iron would mean for the golfers they are designed for.

We’ll dive a little deeper into each model below!

Don’t forget: if you’re interested in giving Mizuno irons a try then be sure to visit GlobalGolf.ca and look at its UTry® program. The UTrade-In® program can help you nab an even better price on new Mizuno irons when you trade in your previous gear for an upgrade, and the USelect® tool can help find which new Mizuno irons are right for you.

    Mizuno 241

Designed for the better player, the Mizuno Pro 241 irons have a refined head shape (made from 1025 forged steel) and boast a tapered blade design that’s thinner than the previous 221 model. There is, however, more mass behind the face which helps improve feel. Harmonic Impact Technology helps to improve both feel and sound, while more muted sound pressure helps to produce – at impact – a softer but cleaner strike.

    Mizuno 243

The Mizuno 243 irons boast enhanced ball speed and launch for elite players and feature a refined cavity-back head. The copper underlay beneth the chrome finish offers up soft, pure feel and sound. A new sole grind is introduced for 2024 which helps ball flight and turf interaction – from all lies – while the patented grain flow forging process is paired with new chromoly technology that helps produce a Tour-level iron profile and extremely high ball speeds.

    Mizuno 245

The final of the new Mizuno irons for 2024 is the Mizuno Pro 245, which now feature a thinner topline profile and multi-thickness Cortech face to producer faster ball speeds – all with a more compact head shape. Grain flow forged steel is combined with a hollow body construction for higher and more stable ball flight with an increased ball speed. A suspended tungsten weight (2-iron through 7-iron) pushes the centre of gravity to its lowest possible point above the sole – that will help improve power and launch. Finally, harmonic impact technology is enhanced and will help reduce sound pressure at impact for a pure feel.
