  • Golf Gloves for 2020

    On the Range Blog

Did you know you’re supposed to change your glove every six to 10 rounds? That means you should be (hopefully!) at minimum changing out your glove once a season – and if you’re playing in extremely hot or wet conditions even more frequent than that.

Luckily GlobalGolf.ca has a handful (no pun intended) of great glove options from the biggest names in golf. Your grip is so important to the golf swing, as it is the only thing that connects your body to the club, and if you’re not gripping it properly with a good glove, then you might be losing strokes.

Per Golf Canada, more rounds have been registered with the portal of the National Sport Organization from June onwards than in its history – which means people have been playing a lot of golf in 2020. If you’re one of those people, it’s likely you’re going to need a new glove before 2021 gets going.

Here are some great options from FootJoy, Callaway, and TaylorMade from GlobalGolf.ca

    FootJoy

FootJoy Contour FLX 20 Pearl Golf Glove

FootJoy Contour FLX 20 Golf Glove

FootJoy Contour FLX 20: The FootJoy Contour FLX (‘Flex’) is constructed with premium, lightweight leather. It’s durable, provides superior comfort and flexibility, and the elastic cuff provides a snug feel. Cabretta leather on the entire palm gives golfers a smooth feel plus sweat resistance.

FootJoy WeatherSof: The FootJoy WeatherSof is the most advanced microfiber glove in the world. It combines revolutionary performance with maximum durability with Cabretta leather located along the thumb and extended palm patch – which extends durability and grip performance in key wear areas.

FootJoy StaSof: Designed to retain its softness longer, the FootJoy StaSof also boasts water resistance to help provide exceptional grip performance and durability.

    Callaway

Callaway Weather Spann: Allowing for all-weather performance, the Callaway Weather Spann glove incorporates synthetic leather and reinforced palm patches to improve grip and durability in all weather conditions. The Callaway Weather Spann glove also has an adjustable closure that helps with a light and secure fit.

Callaway Dawn Patrol: Constructed with all leather material, the Callaway Dawn Patrol golf features a cotton terry cuff for moisture absorption. The Callaway Dawn Patrol delivers the ultimate in performance and durability.

    Callaway Tour-Authentic Golf Glove

    Callaway Tour-Authentic Golf Glove

Callaway Tour Authentic: With perforations on the fingers and thumb for moisture reduction and an OptiFit adjustable closure, the Callaway Tour Authentic glove is the complete package. It is made of OptiFeel leather and the Callaway Tour Authentic glove boasts premium feel, comfort, and fit.

    TaylorMade

TaylorMade TP Flex: The AAA Cabretta TM Soft Tech leather combined with a four-way stretch nylon insert helps maximize grip and mobility in the TaylorMade Tour Preferred Flex. One highlight from TaylorMade here is the antimicrobial construction that allows for a lasting freshness.

    TaylorMade Stratus Leather Golf Glove

    TaylorMade Stratus Leather Golf Glove

TaylorMade Stratus Leather Glove: A great combination of durability and performance, the TaylorMade Stratus Leather Glove has micro perforations to optimize airflow, no matter the climate. A contoured wrist band helps keep moisture away while four-way stretch material delivers superior comfort.

TaylorMade Rain Control: With the last few weeks of golf season now upon many of us in Canada, you’ll want to keep playing no matter the weather. The TaylorMade Rain Control glove (there are two in a pack) offers a 40 percent stronger grip during the rain versus a standard glove. It has a natural feel, too, even in the wettest of conditions.
