    On the Range Blog

If Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa, Canadian PGA Tour winner Nick Taylor, and yes, even Tiger Woods, trust TaylorMade drivers, isn’t it worth a look by regular Canadian golfers too?

GlobalGolf.ca has a wide selection of TaylorMade drivers available both as part of the GlobalGolf Utry program and as certified pre-owned. The wide spectrum of TaylorMade drivers available make it easier to hit it long and straight – at price points that can fit every budget.

If you’ve spent your whole Canadian golf season wondering why your friends are bombing it past you, or if you aren’t taking advantage of modern technology to stay in the fairway, here’s a breakdown of everything you need to know about the TaylorMade driver lineup.

    TaylorMade M5

The TaylorMade M5 drivers feature revolutionary twist face technology to provide more loft high in the toe and less loft in the lower-heel area to help produce more consistent spin. TaylorMade M5 drivers are also speed injected to help maximize ball speed and distance. A new flexible Hammerhead slot works in conjunction with the super hot face to produce a large sweet spot, while an inverse T-Track has two 10-gram weights to help golfers using the TaylorMade M5 to optimize spin and trajectory.

    TaylorMade M6

While there is no sliding weight for the TaylorMade M6, it has the same kind of revolutionary speed injected technology alongside a twist-face curve to help with consistency. The Aerodynamic shaping design helps provide increased clubhead speed for more distance out of the TaylorMade M6, while an inertia generator stores 46 grams of weight low and back for maximum forgiveness.

    TaylorMade M6 D-Type

According to recent surveys, upwards of 70 percent of all golfers slice. The TaylorMade M6 D-Type is designed to help that huge percentage of golfers who hit the ball left-to-right and need a little help to get themselves back online. While the TaylorMade M6 D-Type rocks the same technology as the TaylorMade M6 – twist face and speed-injected, plus a design that helps increase clubhead speed for more distance – there is an internal weight near the heel on the TaylorMade M6 D-Type that produces a draw bias.

    TaylorMade SIM

New for 2020 is the TaylorMade SIM lineup. Standing for Shape In Motion, the TaylorMade SIM driver features a brand new head shape with an aerodynamic asymmetric sole. The TaylorMade SIM is designed to provide faster clubhead speed while the rear weight creates high MOI, which means improved forgiveness. Twist face and speed injected technology continues for the TaylorMade SIM lineup, building off the success of the TaylorMade M5 and TaylorMade M6. The TaylorMade SIM also features multi-material construction with carbon, titanium, and steel and sliding weight technology.

There is also the TaylorMade SIM MAX and the TaylorMade SIM MAX D drivers in the TaylorMade SIM lineup for 2020. The TaylorMade SIM MAX is more focused on forgiveness, with a clubface that’s 8 percent bigger than the TaylorMade SIM. The TaylorMade SIM MAX D encourages a draw bias but is chalk full of the same revolutionary technology as the TaylorMade SIM.
